BUTTERWORTH: The threat posed by PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to the nation is even greater than the impact of the current world economic crisis. Former PKR Youth chief Mohamed Ezam Mohd Nor said Anwar was willing to compromise the country’s political and economic stability to pursue his political ambitions.
“His statement in a foreign financial newspaper recently that he would take over the Government on Sept 16 has caused irreparable damage to the country’s economy.
“It caused many potential foreign investors who were planning to set up their businesses in Malaysia to review their plans. This shows that Anwar doesn’t care and will do whatever it takes to become the prime minister,” he said at a Penang Malay unity gathering at Polyteknik Seberang Prai, here yesterday.
Ezam labelled Anwar a “traitor” to the Malays because he was also willing to do away with the New Economic Policy and bumiputra special privileges as long as he received support from the non-Malays.
“Anwar has now shown his true colours. He is a man who cannot be trusted and I hope the Malays will fight him by rejecting him in the coming by-election in Permatang Pauh,” he said.
Mohamed Ezam said PKR was not democratic in the sense that its president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Ismail did not inform anyone in the party when she announced she would vacate her Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat to make way for Anwar.
“Anwar is shouting about reformation and to reform the country. How can he do that when there is no democracy in his own backyard?” he asked.

Siapa kau?Kau nak bercakap soal bumiputera tapi siapa yang mintak kau bercakap untuk kami?
Tak ada siapa yang nakkan anda menjadi wakil kami.Takde siapa yang nak seorang tali barut yang jauh lebih keji berbanding tali barut zaman komunis dulu bercakap pasal Hak Ketuanan Melayu.
Aku tak peduli pandangan kau Ezam.
Aku tak kisah siapa2 pun jadi Perdana Menteri.Asal bukan dari BN,bukan dari UMNO,bukan suku sakat keluarga Abdullah Badawi,bukan anak Tun Razak juga bukan kau.Fikirlah pakai otak sekerat anda tu,pandai sangat ke pakar2 ekonomi dalam UMNO,kalau yang pandai sekadar menaikkan harga itu ini,tak pandai nak reti kontrol turun naik inflasi?Pandai sangat kah orang2 UMNO sampai Malaysia ni mereka ingat mereka saja yang boleh perintah?
Mereka dalam UMNO saja yang pandai,yang geliga,yang bijaksana?
Otak rakyat hanya untuk menerima dusta?
Sayang,kalah dekat Azmin Ali,hanya UMNO lah tempat mengadu.
Berlagak macam Raja Tujuh Benua,padahal diri terlupa sini hanya dunia.
